Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Ami & Co collects when you use ami-and-co.com, book a consultation, or work with me as a brand, and what I do with it. The short version: I collect what I need to do the work, I do not sell it, and you can ask me to delete it.
1. Who I am
Ami & Co is operated by Amisha, a sole proprietor based in Osaka, Japan (the "Site", "I", "me"). For anything about your personal information, write to itsmish1432@gmail.com.
2. What I collect
When you contact me
Your name, email address and whatever you write in the message. If you send a product page or documents for review, I keep those for the duration of the work.
When you book a consultation
Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the appointment details, and the answers you choose to give in the intake questions. Those answers may include information about your skin, your routine and products you use, and occasionally health-related details you decide to share so that the consultation is useful. I treat that information as sensitive: it is used only to prepare and deliver your consultation, it is never shared for marketing, and it is deleted when you ask.
When you pay
Payments are processed by the payment provider connected to this site (for example Squarespace Payments, Stripe or PayPal). They receive your card or account details; I do not see or store full card numbers. I receive confirmation of the payment, the amount and the billing name and email.
When you work with me as a brand
Company name, contact names and roles, email addresses, the pages, documents and data you send for review, and the correspondence around the work. Study data and unpublished material are handled under the confidentiality terms in the Terms of Service.
When you browse
The site runs on Squarespace, which collects standard technical information (IP address, browser, pages visited, referring site) and uses cookies for site functionality and analytics. Squarespace's own policy is at squarespace.com/privacy. You can manage cookies through the banner on this site and in your browser.
3. Why I use it
- To reply to you and deliver the consultation or review you asked for.
- To invoice, take payment and keep the records Japanese tax law requires.
- To send you the deliverable, follow-up notes and, if you asked for it, scheduling reminders.
- To understand how the site is used so I can improve it (aggregate analytics only).
- To meet legal obligations and, if necessary, defend legal claims.
I do not use your information for advertising, I do not sell it, and I do not share it with beauty brands. I do not run affiliate programmes or brand sponsorships.
4. Who else sees it
Only the providers I need to run the site and the work: Squarespace (hosting, forms, scheduling, store), the payment provider for your transaction, Google (email and documents), and video-call software for consultations. Each acts under its own privacy terms. I do not give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
5. Where it is stored
I am in Japan; the providers above store data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. If you are in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with data-transfer rules, your information may be transferred outside that jurisdiction under the providers' standard safeguards.
6. How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months. Consultation notes and intake answers: for the duration of our work together and up to 24 months after, unless you ask me to delete them sooner. Invoices and payment records: seven years, as required by Japanese accounting rules. Brand review material: returned or deleted at the end of the engagement unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Your rights
You can ask me at any time to tell you what I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it, and I will do so unless a legal obligation (such as tax records) requires me to keep it. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California you have the rights set out in the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete; I do not sell personal information. Requests go to itsmish1432@gmail.com; I answer within 30 days.
8. Children
The site and its services are for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has sent me information, tell me and I will delete it.
9. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, I will update the date at the top and, where I have your email, tell you.
個人情報の取扱いについて（日本語要旨）
Ami & Co（運営者：Amisha、大阪府）は、お問い合わせ、コンサルテーションのご予約、ブランド様向けレビュー業務のために必要な範囲で個人情報（氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、ご相談内容、送付いただいた資料）を取得し、サービスの提供、請求、法令上の記録保存の目的にのみ利用します。決済情報は決済代行会社が処理し、当方はカード番号を保持しません。取得した情報を第三者に販売・提供することはありません（法令に基づく場合を除く）。サイトの運営にはSquarespace等の海外事業者を利用しており、データは日本国外のサーバーに保存される場合があります。個人情報保護法に基づく開示、訂正、利用停止、削除のご請求は itsmish1432@gmail.com までご連絡ください。
