Hi, I'm Ami.

I'm a biotech-trained scientist working in regenerative medicine and stem cell research, the field that studies how cells repair, regenerate, and renew themselves. My day work is in a Tokyo biotech lab, asking how tissue heals, what tells skin to behave differently, and what it actually takes to change a cell's fate.

I built Ami & Co. because the beauty industry sold me products for ten years and never sold me a strategy. I had cystic acne. I had skin that reacted to things that shouldn't bother it. And I had a science background that kept asking why none of it was working.

So I rebuilt it from the protocol up. Actives sequenced by what the barrier could tolerate. Sleep and protein and sweat tracked like data. A routine designed around my biology, not a trend.

I work between Tokyo, Osaka, and the U.S., in Japanese and English.

About the name. Ami means friend in French, a companion in transformation, a soul who believes in your becoming. In Japanese (亜美), it carries the grace of refined beauty and connection, the invisible thread that links hearts, cultures, and eras. And in Sanskrit (आमि / अमृत), it whispers both "I am" and "amṛta," the divine nectar of immortality.

A trinity: Friendship. Beauty. Immortality.

Ami is both the friend and the nectar. The science of beauty is also the worship of being.

Ami & Co. was born from the meeting of evidence and enchantment, transforming biotech-grade skincare and wellness into modern devotion.
